Your papersdirect newsagent delivers national and local newspapers to your door, 7 days a week and usually by 7am. papersdirect can supply any newspaper or magazine available in the UK, even if it’s the local weekly paper from your old neighbourhood from the other end of the country … although it might take us an extra day or two to get to us before we deliver to you!

There is a delivery charge of 45p per day (55p on Saturday and 60p on Sunday = £3.40 per week) for urban deliveries, regardless of the number of newspapers you want delivered – we charge per visit per days so you can buy as many newspapers as you want – business. Rural delivery rates vary.

Your news deliverer is an adult man or woman who start before most shops are open. In some cases our people are not from a newsagents shop at all, but get your newspapers dropped to their home or business premises. Each driver uses an app on their mobile phone to tell them which newspapers and magazines are to be delivered to which address, and delivers to up to 100 customers in their own car. Just like most doorstep deliveries these days, papersdirect can track who delivered your newspaper, when it arrived, and where it was left i.e. how close to the delivery point …. proof of delivery for the newspaper ordered direct from your favourite publisher by subscription.

Some businesses like to pay cash weekly, and others demand that invoices to be emailed to an accounts department, with Purchase Order numbers! Payments can be collected by direct debit, paid by bank transfer, posting a cheque or we’ll happily take cash!!

Your Hotel can access papersdirect website where your night team can order additional newspapers for your guests. We deliver a few hours later, usually by 6am in urban areas. The ordering screen allows you to check prices for billing your guests. Your local papersdirect newsagent will usually provide your reception with a card listing available newspapers which you can offer your guests on check in. Whether private or council run. We charge a reduced rate, per resident, when delivering to five or more people in your Care Home. Each resident has an individual account within your Care Home which allows you to manage stopping, starting and changing your residents newspapers as they come and go! You might also want to order a selection of newspapers for your communal areas or library?

Every resident gets their own newspaper bill making it easy for your admin office to collect cash, or transfer funds to you. Your Care Home is emailed a summary with the individaul bills BUT is responsible for making one single “weekly” payment from your Care Home to papersdirect for all deliveries. Experience has shown us that weekly billing makes it easier for you to keep on top of your residents newsbills. Newspapers are either delivered to your residents room, or “addressed” with the room number for delivery by one of your team or an early riser at your Home.
